I don’t think Matt or Trey helped with this. Their names are not anywhere
to be found. The audio obviously isn’t either one of them. The animation
looks like it was just kinda used as an example, because the actual people
in the short don’t look ANYTHING like South Park characters. So, I’m
calling BS. I don’t think Matt or Trey had anything to do with this.
Yeah that is what the weekend is for. We need money for all the wonderful
things we can do., Money encourages innovation, and innovation allows
growth. Yes, we are not saving our money wisely and we are not using our
lives more efficiently. However that issue relies more on the person’s
personal preference than anything else.
As many of you know, I spend a lot of my time with college students and
young people dealing with issues related to careers and success. If I could
get them all to give me just two minutes, I’d have them watch this
wonderful clip that illustrates a recording of Alan Watts.
Too many young people today think that their lives are on hold until they
get to college, or graduate and start work, or start their family, or
whatever mythical endpoint they have in their sights. And so they get
discouraged with the journey and too often disappointed when they think
they’ve reached their “destination.”
It’s important to have a direction, if you can find one. If you don’t know
where you’re going, you’re liable to wind up someplace else. (What they
don’t tell you is that you’re likely to wind up someplace else anyway, but
that’s another matter.) But it’s what you learn and see and contribute
along the way that matters. And you never really arrive; there’s always one
more hill to climb, one more bend in the road to see around.
You must learn to find your success and fulfillment in the journey, because
in the end, that’s what it’s all about.

His laugh is magic — I swear.
JRE brought me here
Ducan trussell and joe rogan brought me here!
Have fun!!
this man has so many profound insights, we could make these types of
animations forever
Amazing! <3
So WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
very neat way of presenting the idea
Can’t agree with the conclusion about this life philosophy. Really! Wake up
and hear the music playing!
So the secret is to sing and dance along the way … it’s that simple.
+Sheed Itaman, watch this 🙂

Love this. Play the music!
Pretty sure I’d get punched in the face repeatedly if I sang and danced
everywhere.
Enjoy life as it arrives…

True True True!!!! Thank god I started skipping school at age 6!

This is an important 2 minute bit on music and life. Don’t miss out.
Warning–you might get depressed if you are on the pre-determined path.
Beautiful.
Don’t forget to sing and dance before you go.
So what’s the point of this? To enjoy life while you’re trying to get to
the “end?”
“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who
could not hear the music.” – Nietzsche
So true, so beautiful. Love it.

My friend Jateen Hansjee has just introduced me to Alan Watts. #Yoooooh!
Alan Watts animated by Trey Parker and Matt Stone
Wow, it blows my mind to see that Federico is an Alan Watts fan. I knew of
him from his talks about automation and guaranteed incomes, but god *damn*.
Wat is nou eigenlijk de bedoeling van het leven? Een van mijn favoriete
filmpjes van Alan Watts geeft hier een mooie kijk op!
